Fostering
Purrfect Friends encourages fostering to help make a positive impact on a cat or kitten’s life. If you have a spare room, you can foster! Responsibilities include providing a clean environment, food, water, nail trims, and medication when needed. Fosters also help with writing cat bios and providing photos for the website, transporting cats to adoption events and vet appointments. We value fosters who are detail-oriented and communicative. Fostering is a collaborative effort, and ample support is available for any challenges that may come up.
Cat Care at Partner Stores
Purrfect Friends has cats available for adoption at four partner pet stores. Volunteering to care for these cats just one day a week is a simple way to get involved with a minimal time commitment.
Assist at Adoption Events
Volunteers at adoption events assist with setting up and tearing down, engage with potential adopters about available cats and the adoption process, and help with general cleaning of the event areas.
Transportation
Purrfect Friends appreciates volunteers that are willing to transport our cats and kittens to vet appointments and adoption events.
